We'll Miss You

Some of the greatest things about fostering are meeting so many people, sharing puppy stories and making lasting friendships along the way. I am a part of a circle of friends that began when the "F Troop Girls" entered our lives. None of us believe it was chance that brought us together...our paths were meant to cross. We cememted a friendship during our time fostering the girls, and later the open communication, trust and respect that was established early on was called upon during a challenging time in our lives. We weathered the storm together.
We have stayed in close contact over the years and get together as often as we can for pick ups, drop offs,"Puppyfests", graduations and just because we want to. The circle has widened to include others but the original 6 (can't forget to include the "Bob's) are still very close. I feel blessed to have these special people in my life.

Which brings me to the point of this post: Trillium, Essex and their humans will soon be moving clear across the country. Puppyfests at the cottage just won't be the same anymore. Essex (a brother to Eddie and Egan) was the brunt of many jokes but is adored by all. That little hamster never did start spinning the wheel in his brain!! And Trillium, the mother hen, always made sure none of the dogs got out of line. We shall miss them very much.
I guess if three women can drive 5 dogs in a rental van to Florida then surely 2 women and 2 dogs can make it out to B.C. for a family reunion with Trillium?
