What a busy week we've had! Between shopping trips, mall walking and visiting friends, we've also attended a Maroons hockey game and our first puppy class.
Jive was fantastic at the hockey game. The buzzers and horns tend to startle me but Jive just laid between my feet and slightly raised her head when she heard either sound, or when the crowd went crazy cheering on the home team for scoring a goal. She was a hit with the other hockey fans and the owner of the team who said she could attend any time.
Today we once again made the long journey to the place where she was born and where puppy classes are held the first few months. It's kind of hard to keep an 11 week old puppy focused when the room is full of puppies and there are dogs barking in the kennel on the other side of the door, however, Jive did fairly well. We saw a couple of her littermates and her mom's foster mum too!
Jive was definitely the smallest Lab in the room... there was one puppy from another litter born the same day and he was twice her size and weight!! I think it's going to be quite a while before she fits into her new size 4 jacket. ;-)) She might be tiny and delicate now but she has a "JIVEMUNGOUS" name tag to go along with her personality.
